On 5th April 2019
Hi Mark, it should be as simple as clicking [Load the Map] to get the map on screen, then start drawing the area to measure.

All I've been trying to do is to calculate acreage. Can we still do that or is that not available? And if you need to sign up and pay where is that and how much???
By Mark on 24th March 2019
Hi Tom, we will look in to this.

Me gusto, es muy útil, me ayudó mucho sobre todo en lugares de difícil acceso para calcular áreas, sin embargo al final se bloqueó y me canceló el permiso de uso. Gracias

TO PRINT YOUR CALCULATION MAP, if the normal function is not working, I would just do a screen shot of your view (you should be able to enlarge the view to full screen). A bit crude maybe, but at least you have the image. I haven't tried this, but you might get a better result by right clicking on the map and selecting "save image." I use a tablet, so my method is to tap/press on the map, and select "save image."
You should find the image in your gallery or wherever your photos or screen shots are stored.
*FWIW, today there was no response when entering the address i am trying to map out, so no fun for me. %u2639 Usually everything is perfect and instantaneous on DL, hope its back up soon. I hate to say this, but maybe its time for a couple reeeeaaallllyyy tiny ads? Little teency ones. Please note, I HATE INTERNET ADS, but as long as they don't move, have flashing colors or lights, noise or sound of any kind, and a 100% RELIABLE way to click them off,.. and they STAY OFF, then i might be ok with it. I really like using the site.

Does anyone at Draft Logic read these comments?
I would like to print or to pay to print. The print option is the most important to me after the area calculator!!!!
Anyone out there with an answer?
How do I contact Draft Logic directly to get an answer???

iS THERE A PRINT FUNCTIUON THAT DOES NOT CUT THE MAP IMAGE INTO HALF OR THRIDS? If not, is there a version of this that we can purchase so that images can be printed? Aside from the great ability to calculate areas, the print function was the second most used by me in order to show what was being looked at.

As per the version history, "Google Maps search removed due to costs." Here's what you need to do.
(1) Go to Google Maps and search for the address
(2) From the URL/search bar copy the Latitude and Longitude coordinates. They are right after the "@" https://www.google.com/maps/place/your place/@43.6425662,-79.3892455,17z/
(3) Go back to Daft Logic's Google Maps Area Calculator Tool and select Find Location by Latitude and Longitude
(4) Click Search
