This is EXACTLY what I was looking for to know how much land a farmer was offering us to add to our garden. Thank you so much.

It would be great of you could disable the autopan feature like you can in the distance calculator. Other than that, excellent program!

only one problem, there is not enough room in the 'Quick Find' address text box field. Some address' do not fit completely. If there was more character space or unlimited character space it would be PERFECT

Amazing tool!!!! Do you really understand what you have created here? This makes all land applications a snap especially for us simple forestry types.

I have used this many times to get acreage for farm leasing, fertilizer amounts, and farm planning.

Awesome tool! Can you expand the character limit of the quick find text box?
By Don on 01/07/2009
Excellent tool. Would be great if you could have a larger display area but very useful anyway. Thanks

Thanks, great tool. Idea for (easy, but very helpful) improvement: add distance (on map) between marks on map.
By kenshis on 13/06/2009
Brilliant - would be even better if I could copy the area and lay over other maps for comparison....

Neat! Note that the hectare (1 ha = 10'000 square meters) is probably the most used SI-unit when talking about land areas over certain sizes (say, 5'000 square meters), dependending on the use.

Great timesaver - you helped a non-profit determine the size of a historic man made lake. for others out there, 1 acre = 4,046.8564 square meters, so take the measurement in meters, then divide it by 4046.9 to get pretty close to acreage.

Oh you do have the tool to calculate distances as well. This site is amazing ;-)

Top notch mate. GJ. How about displaying linear length when 2 points are selected. Thanks again.
